Jim Garman owns Better Homes & Gardens Real Estate - Go Realty, a fiercely independent community of real estate agents in North Carolina.  BHGRE - Go Realty, with the tagline, "Not for everyone" believes passionately in Seth Godin's message of passionate and polarizing differentiation.  And guess what?  It works.

Jim is a serial entrepreneur with a questionable sense of timing.  Oblivious to pending economic disaster, Jim started Garman Homes in 2007, then launched Go Realty in 2010.  In 2014, Jim added Durham Building company to the family.  Today, Jim's merry band builds 150 homes each year and helps over 1,000 families buy and sell homes.  

Not satisfied with the current CRM offerings for real estate agents, Jim recently teamed up with Zach Schabot to build GoConnect, a checklist app for agents.  Although revenue remains elusive, GoConnect has been a hit with real estate agents, with over 20,000 downloads and a passionate tribe of followers.
